Be Prepared:

All Clients must fill out and sign a standard consent form, please fill it out ahead of time or arrive 5mins early. If you wish to get started on your paperwork ahead of time click here. Feel free to conserve paper by printing on both sides or emailing it to me. Once in the office, I briefly walk you through the session and answer any questions you may have. Then, you will have the opportunity to discuss any concerns, targeted areas, or things you're going through. Please note that you may utilize our time together how you see fit, but I must stick to our scheduled appointment time. Healing ends approximately 10mins before so I may go over my findings and discuss further actions.

Appointment Policy:

Appointments are required and 24hrs notice is required for all cancellations or rescheduling. If the client doesn't give advance notice, they will be charged a 50% fee or vouchers will be redeemed. If the client doesn't give any notice and fails to show, there will be a 100%. If the client is late for their appointment, then the session still falls within the allotted time slot. Appropriate time is needed in between sessions. It rarely happens, but if I am ever late, the session still lasts the designated time or the session is pro-raided. If I need to reschedule, I will give you 24hrs unless it's an emergency. If I can't do so, the client's next session is discounted. Thank you for respecting our policy. Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do I need to do anything to prepare for the session?

A: Since we only have a limited time, to get the most out of each session you should take some time to reflect on what brought you this experience. I’m sure you may have many areas of concern but it’s best to have one or two manageable goals that you wish to accomplish. Many clients seek out Reiki to help with things like anxiety, depression, or relaxation but these are long-term goals that require many sessions. We’ll have a little time to address some of your concerns before the session but the more we talk the less time we’ll have for the healing. Some practitioners do require their clients to do ritual prep work so that their aura is already cleared but that’s why you’re here, I’ll take care of that for you.

Q: What should I wear?

A: Clients remain fully clothed. You're welcome to come in comfortable cloths, perhaps dress in layers since some clients experience things like hot or cold waves. A light blanket is provided. Please avoid perfume, sage, or other strong fragrances. Most clients like to feel more grounded, so please be perpared to take your shoes off. I don’t encourage short dresses or skirts since you have to get on and off the massage table but that’s really up to you. Feel free to not wear make-up, some clients can become emotional and tears are always welcomed.

Q: What can I expect during a Reiki session?

A: It’s very common for new clients to feel nervous or anxious before a session. It often helps to treat the session just like any other relaxing technique, like a massage without getting touched. Since very session is unique, I can’t predict what you’ll go through. Some people feel things throughout the body, other feel more emotions, some people see colors or visions and some people don’t experience anything at all. Most people feel a settle vibration running through the body. It’s important to know that whatever you experience is exactly what you need.

Q: How often should I have a Reiki session?

A: How often you benefit from my services are always completely up to you. Although one session may be adequate for short-term relaxation, long-term imbalances in the body requires multiple treatments in order to allow the body to reach the level of relaxation necessary to bring the system back into balance. At first, the energy might not hold very long; but over time as we work on clearing more of the blockages your body holds on to the energy for longer periods of time. I usually recommend a follow up session after 1-2 weeks so I may check to see how well your body is holding the energy and identify areas that you might be storing stress. Eventually, we start to space out the sessions longer. Most of my regular clients come in about once a month.

Q: Is it appropriate to tip?

A: Any gratuity is always appreciated but never expected. I think of my practices like any other business that provides a service. I know a lot of people don’t like to carry cash on them. I do except any forms of payment like card, Venmo, and Zelle.

Q: What can I expect after a Reiki session?

A: Each session is unique so it hard to determine what you’ll experience. Most clients feel lighter and more relaxed. Some clients do go through a energy cleanse. This could be felt physically like body aches, head pressure, or cold like symptoms. Some people experience more emotional effects like waves of emotions or random crying. This is normal, it’s your body releasing toxics. Most cleanses are just the first session and only last a few days. I encourage you to drink plenty of water for a few days after a session to flush out the toxins. If you do experience a cleanse I encourage you to read more in my blog.
