Once in the office, I briefly walk you through on what to expect during your session and answer any questions you might have. Then, you will have the opportunity to discuss any concerns, areas that you wish to target, or things you might be going through. Appointment Policies:

Please be respectful of other people’s time. I require 24hrs notice for all cancellations and rescheduling, so please try to give notice as early as possible. If the client purchased any vouchers and does not give 24hrs notice it will be redeemed. If the client cancels/reschedules does not give advance notice for a second time then they will be charged a 50% fee. If the client doesn’t give any notice, then they will be charged a 100% fee. If it happens multiple times, then the client will have to pre-pay for your session when booking which will be non-refundable if less then 24hrs notice is given. When a client doesn’t show up for their appointment not only does it cost the office time and money, as well as delay scheduling for other clients, but more importantly they are also breaking a commitment to themselves and “Spirit”. If the client is late for their appointment, then the session still falls within the allotted time slot. If the client is late more then 15mins then we may have to reschedule your appointment to a later date. Appropriate need time is needed in between sessions for clients that wish to purchasing goods, preparing the room for the next appointment, and responding to other clients. Thank you for your consideration. If I am ever late, the session still lasts the designated time or the session is pro-raided. If I need to cancel/reschedule an appointment, I will give 24hrs notice whenever possible. If I can’t do so, the client’s next session will be discounted.

FAQ:

Q: What can I expect during or after a Reiki session?

A: It’s very common for new clients to feel nervous or anxious before a session. It often helps to treat the session just like any other relaxing technique. Since very session is unique, I can’t predict what you’ll go through but I do walk you through the common experiences. The same goes for after your session. I do encourage you drink lots of water before and after your session and to read my blogs about these topics.

Q: What should I wear?

A: I encourage clients to come in comfortable cloths. Maybe dress in layers since some clients experience things like hot or cold waves. Often clients like to take off their shoes to feel more grounded. I don’t encourage short dresses or skirts since you have to get on and off the massage table but that’s really up to you. Feel free to not wear make-up, some clients can become emotional and tears are always welcomed.

Q: Do I need to do anything to prepare for the session?

A: Some practitioners do require their clients to do ritual prep work so that their aura is already cleared. I like to encourage my clients to come as you are. I know a lot of people worry about coming in with “bad energy” but I always say, “You don’t worry about see doctor when your sick?” No reason to worry about doing any extra steps before your big day; that’s why I’m here, to help clear away what I call “stagnant energy”.

Q: Is it appropriate to tip?

A: Any gratuity is always appreciated but never expected. I know a lot of people don’t like to carry cash on them. I do except any forms of payment like card, Venmo, and Zelle.

Q: How often should I have a Reiki session?

A: How often you decide to benefit from my services are always completely up to you. At first, the energy might not hold as very long; but over time we work on clearing out more of the blockages and your body and hold on to the energy for longer periods of time. I usually recommend after our first session to come back in 1-2 weeks for a follow up where I check to see how well your body is holding the energy and identify certain areas that you might be storing stress. Eventually we start to space out the sessions longer. Most of my regular clients come in about once or twice a month.
